In 1992 the Kentucky Association of Circuit Court Clerks founded Donate Life Kentucky. This mission was inspired by a Clerk who tragically lost a loved one while awaiting a heart transplant. Over the years, the Circuit Clerks have raised over $20 million for the public education and celebrated over 2 million Kentuckians registering as donors.

Across Kentucky communities there are more than 1,000 Kentuckians waiting for their gift of life. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of those in need through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. As the number of registered organ donors increases, so the does the potential for saving lives. We envision a world where no one dies waiting for a transplant.
