On Sunday May 10th, my sister Tara and I will be taking part in the Alton 10 and we wanted to support Alton Counselling Service: a charity and cause that is close to our hearts.

Through our own mental health journeys and seasons of anxiety, we've seen the true benefits of therapy, but know that there is still a lingering stigma around seeking help. We want to change that. Therapy is a lifeline that many people are still hesitant to seek, but talking about mental health shouldn't be a source of shame. In fact, it's a sign of strength.

Alton Counseling Service is a wonderful organisation that offers safe spaces for adults, young people, and couples to navigate various circumstances. Crucially, they are able to provide discounted services for those on benefits or low income to ensure that nobody in the community is left to struggle alone.

By donating, you are helping Alton Counselling Service continue to provide these affordable sessions and ensuring that anybody who needs a sympathetic, non-judgemental space to talk can find one.
