We are Jenny McNicholas and Rachel Bulloch with children in Nursery, Year 1 and year 2 between us. We are going to be running the St Albans Half Marathon on Sunday 11th June and wanted to raise some money for the school in the process.

We are definitely not athletes, just full time working mums that needed an outlet and a bit of me time. We started running together in November 2022 and have clocked up a fair few miles ever since, in all types of weather from icy and freezing cold, to super heavy down pours to sunny and warm.

The St Albans Half Marathon is a rather hilly 13.1 miles. In the past the day has always been hot and with the hills it's going to be a challenge and the longest distance we have run. Please support us and give us an extra reason to keep pushing when our legs are tired and the hills are too long all in aid of Wheatfields Infants and Nursery.
