London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 ·

The London Irish Centre is incredibly excited to be taking part in London Landmarks for the very first time in 2026! Money raised by running for Team LIC will go towards supporting our work, fostering community connection and enriching lives.

Story

In April 2026, I’ll be doing something slightly unhinged, running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. Yes, voluntarily. Yes, the full 13.1 miles. No I don’t know who I think I am either.

I’m running for a brilliant cause, the LIC, a charity that provides info and advice, survivor support, naturalisation services, community support, and cultural events for the Irish community in Camden and across London through outreach work. In short, they do a lot of good for a lot of people.

I’m not Irish myself, but I have some very dear friends who work there and pour their hearts (and probably their sleep schedules) into making sure the centre remains operational supporting everyone who needs it!

If you can donate, even the price of a coffee, snack, or regrettable late-night online purchase, (we are all guilty!) it would mean a huge amount. Every contribution helps and will also psychologically force me to keep running when my legs start negotiating a shutdown.

Support the cause. Save my dignity. Fund my suffering.

Thank you 🙌

A beautiful run this morning, new trainers after last weeks disaster and my plantar fascia giving up. 11 miles completed on yet another very hilly route, looking forward to race day. 😊
