Seren’s fundraiser for Little Princess Trust

Jenny Deverell is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Vast hair chop · 31 December 2025

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

As many of you know, Seren was given a wig from The Little Princess Trust in 2017 when she lost her long hair due to cancer treatment at age 5. She’s been truly blessed with her Nan’s gorgeous Irish side genes and her thick, fast-growing hair has now grown halfway to her knees in 8 years!

Now, aged 14, Seren has gone from having just a half-inch cut a year ago to deciding she wants a much shorter style before going back to school. And of course, she’s decided this just after Christmas, when we all know no one really has spare cash! But she’s determined to donate her hair to The Little Princess Trust, giving back to the charity.

If you’d like to sponsor Seren, any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. She’s hoping to help other children who need wigs, just as she once did.

A huge thank you to the much-acclaimed Sam Elliot (and Jane Elliot) for coming to Seren’s rescue and helping with the haircut on 31st December 🥰🥰🥰🥰
