Along with my fellow Bereavement Support Workers I will be taking on the Aberdeen Kilt Walk this year. The money raised goes towards helping children and their families going through really tough times. We never know what is around the corner in life and The Archie Foundation provides crucial support to those who need it. Whether it is support within the hospital in our patient accommodation, providing equipment or funding a day out or a treat, all money raised goes a long way to helping in dark times.

I work in the Bereavement Team and work directly with any child or young person under the age of 18 who has been impacted by a bereavement. It feels like a privilege to be able to get in there and support families who need it and to be able to really make a difference.
