I'm taking on Hike For A Cure - Jurassic Coast, for Alzheimer’s Research UK on Saturday 21 September.

It is an epic 18 mile hike along the world famous costal path in Dorset, I am joining an amazing community of like-minded walkers putting one step forward for dementia research.

My Dad struggled at the end of his life with dementia. It isn't easy when you remember very little but feelings and emotions are as strong as ever. He tried living in the moment but you can't join in many conversations if you don't remember what's happened or what people have just said to you.

I am doing this walk in his memory, to support further research to improve lives in the future of those that are affected by dementia and their families.
