I am running for The Ruth Stauss Foundation. My friend Gini, a brilliant psychologist and devoted mum of two young children, is facing stage 4 lung cancer. The RSF has been a lifeline for Gini and her family—offering not just resources, but real hope and a sense of community. Supporting this incredible charity is my way of giving back and standing in solidarity with Gini and families like hers.

Gini’s story is a powerful reminder that "lung cancer can affect anyone—all you need is lungs". She had no typical symptoms, never smoked and was diagnosed during maternity leave after months of misdiagnosis. Her strength, honesty and resilience inspire me every day.
