Story

Hi Friends & Family,

This October, I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of an incredible charity: The Children’s Book Project. As someone who deeply believes in the power of early childhood education — especially the timeless value of real, physical books in a world increasingly dominated by screens — this cause feels especially close to my heart.

I was shocked to learn that nearly one million children in the UK don’t own a single book of their own. Imagine growing up without the joy of bedtime stories, the adventure of turning pages, or the opportunities that reading creates.

Every child deserves the chance to fall in love with reading. If you’re able to support this cause, I would be so grateful for your help in putting books into the hands of children who need them most. ❤️

The Children’s Book Project collects new and lightly used books from families and publishers and gifts them onwards to children growing up in poverty. Every book donated to the Children's Book Project can help another child to see themselves as a reader.

This year they will gift at least one million books to children who need them most. Any donations possible to support their work would be greatly appreciated!
