Thank you to everyone so far who has donated to, supported and helped set up this joint fundraiser for CYCALL and Wessex Cancer Support. Today is probably going to be my last training ride before the weekend. As with when we did the half marathon a couple of years ago, it looks like Saturday is going to be a hot day. We will monitor this and I may get going earlier than originally planned to get well underway before it gets hot.

At the 2024 Christmas meal to thank our volunteers, Simon, Sam Fred and myself got talking about the fun and drive of a challenge. Since then we've had injuries, amended routes and changed dates, but now we've settled the details and there are 4 weekends to go!

On 12 July 2025 some combination of us- definitely me- will be attempting a marathon distance on various of our adapted fleet. I will be taking out the hand bike for 104 ish laps of the brilliant track at Brooklands Park. Cycall is going through a period of change and Simon and I are preparing to steward it into its next season. An ambitious fundraiser to honour what Martine and Rob have built and to show appreciation for their commitment and dedication over the last 5+ years seems a good way to start and will help with transitional costs. Additionally, I am raising funds for Biscoes Solicitors charity of the year Wessex Cancer Support ("WCS"). I joined team Biscoes in September 2024 and in recognition of what the move has meant for me professionally I will be splitting proceeds raised on JG 50/50 between Cycall and WCS. Please give what you can and share the details as widely as possible. All funds raised on the day at Brooklands will go to Cycall. Thank you very much in advance.
