I am running the MK half marathon in May, my motivation being to raise money to support the children’s wards at Northampton General Hospital.

As a family we have experienced 2 of the children’s wards, the NICU and one of the general wards (Paddington). We experienced the NICU at a time the world isn’t like it is today (COVID). Although they were navigating their own difficulties they supported us as much as possible.

We have experienced Paddington a few times. They have always provided exceptional care to our son but also supported us as his parents. We will never be able to thank them enough, I hope that having access to the money raised will help them in the future.
