Story
In December our lovely Mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On January 16th she had a 9 hour operation to remove the cancer.
Mum is currently in Hospital recovering and we are doing our best to look after her , and will continue to do so, when she has to face chemo of radiotherapy in the coming months. We know it's going to be a tough year ahead for her.
We all feel pretty helpless so myself, Andy and Gra have decided run a mile a day to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer.
We are extremely grateful that Mum's cancer was spotted early and that she was operated on quickly. We are also very aware that many people are not so lucky and so if we can raise some money to research into this form of cancer then that will be an added bonus.
If you could make a donation then we would be very grateful. If you'd like to find out more about where your money will go then please read on....
Thanks everyone,

We are Pancreatic Cancer UK.
We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.
We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
