So most people will know that this amazing woman Kirsty Owens (mum to 2 amazing children)has gone through so much.

Months of pain in her mouth and no diagnosis

Eventually she was referred and diagnosed with mouth cancer.

In November 2023 Kirsty went and had major surgery to have the cancer removed this also involved having her bone takin from her shoulder to have her jaw replaced. Months of pain, radiotherapy and physio.

Trying to get through and go back to doin her mum jobs work and day to day life.

Things was very hard but within time she got through and finally got to remission and rang that bell. Kirsty is doin absolutely amazing her kids are very proud of the person she is and how brave she was. She had lots of support from her friends and brother and sister in law.

Kirsty will have to undergo another surgery this year which will be a mild surgery which this will start to help her eating properly again maybe feel a bit more human.

Before Kirsty was diagnosed myself and Kirsty use to go on our occasionally walks which is what we called a sippy cup walk. (Alcohol in our water bottles) we enjoyed our walks around Warrington our walks always included a stop at shop for a refill or a stop at the pub.

So we will be doin a walk around Warrington dressed as cowgirls/ cowboys (dress up is for the fun) with our sippy cups raising money for mouth cancer. Any donations would go amazing to the cause as it’s not somet that goes known. And get as many people to join our walk we will be starting at the Greenwood pub Down to Farmers arms to

Station house pub then to the

King & Queen all way to Cheshire cheese then back up to the bulls head other to the Albion pub and to orford lane over wire then to the lord Rodney being our last stop and enjoy rest of the night
