Hi everyone,

I know things may feel a little confusing right now, so I just want to share where we’re at. Thanks to all of you incredible supporters, we’ve already raised over £7,500 an amazing achievement! But sadly, we still have a long way to go if we want to keep the doors open.

I’ve had to set up a new fundraising page, as the previous one was taking huge fees. With this new page, we don’t lose money to fees, and we can even claim Gift Aid meaning your donations go further for the cats. Thank you so much for understanding.

Right now, we’ve had to pause new intakes because we simply cannot continue helping cats in need while facing such overwhelming vet bills. Jenny’s Cat House means the world to me, it’s not just a rescue, it’s a place that has given me hope and confidence, even through my own battles with CPTSD, agoraphobia, depression, Addison’s disease, endometriosis, and multiple surgeries. Volunteering here has shown me I can still make a difference, even behind the scenes.

That’s why, despite the pain, I’ll be restarting fundraising with a 5K walk at Paull tomorrow. I won’t be doing it alone, and it may look more like a slow crawl than a run but I’ll get through it, for the cats, for Jenny, and with the support of my wonderful circle and all of you.

Please, if you can, keep donating and sharing. Every bit of support helps us chip away at those bills and keep the rescue alive. We don’t want to close our doors — and with your help, we don’t have to.
