Story
Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven’t updated the page in a while. I’ve been dealing with both physical and mental health challenges, but I’m still doing what I can to help. You all know how much Jenny’s Cat House means to me, and you may have seen the recent updates about Jenny having to downsize her property. Unfortunately, this has limited the number of cats she can care for at the moment, as the charity has become predominantly foster based.
Thanks to all of you, we’ve already raised over £10,000 an incredible achievement! But we still have a long way to go especially now we need the pens.
The plan is for me to keep fundraising as much as possible. But we now have an even bigger goal: we have been estimated £100,000 to build cattery style pens in Jenny’s garden. I’m currently reaching out to businesses for sponsorship and awaiting responses from skydiving centers as my partner hopes to do this to raise money and I have also reached out to DIY SOS. None of this would be possible without your amazing support and donations.
Jenny’s Cat House means the world to me, it’s not just a rescue, it’s a place that has given me hope and confidence, even while managing CPTSD, agoraphobia, depression, Addison’s disease, endometriosis, and multiple surgeries. Volunteering here has shown me I can still make a difference.
That’s why I’ll be continuing my fundraising this year.
Please keep donating and sharing. Every bit of support helps chip away at bills and keeps the rescue alive.
Thank you always, from the bottom of my heart,
Charlie
