Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

In October, we are undertaking a 9 day trek in the Himalayas. The trek will take us to the base camp of Mount Chomolhari and the mountain pass of Yele La. We expect to reach altitudes of just under 5000 metres. It’s not quite Kilimanjaro (which was the last bit of serious trekking which we completed in 2009) but nevertheless a reasonable challenge.

We are fundraising for a great charity - Brain Tumour Research. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help us fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

Any donations are greatly appreciated!
