Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sierra Leone Foundations for Life Skills is a UK charity set up in 2014 to provide resources for the advancement of education and training in Sierra Leone, particularly females facing social exclusion and to support the relief of poverty in Sierra Leone. There is more information on the website

The charity is looking to raise money to provide housing for some women widowed in the rebel war who are living in very poor conditions. These women have suffered greatly over the past 25 years and survive on very little. SFFLs has built 2 homes in the past. There are 7 widows who would like to move from their present shack dwellings to another area that is more secure. SFFLS trustees have already committed to funding 2 more homes and are hoping to find funds to build another 5. The cost has been quoted as £1,700 for each home which will be built by local builders from breeze blocks with zinc rooves.

Please sponsor me to complete the Church Stretton Skyline Challenge Walk. I am hoping to raise enough money (with match funding from my employer) to build one of these homes, with your help. Even a small donation will make a difference.

This is a 20 mile walk, with over 4,140 ft ascent, covering all the hills around Church Stretton in Shropshire. I hope to complete this in 12 hours on 18 July.
