360 km walk and clean up of plastic along the island Öland · 7 August 2024

To see our ocean thrive, we must make sure our children understand it and are empowered to shape its future. Will you help our scientists bring ocean science to life in schools, and educate future generations of scientists and informed citizens?

Story

Our ocean is the largest carbon sink on this planet and the most important ecosystem on Earth, but is all too often considered to be 'out of sight and out of mind’.

We are UOCEAN 2050 Sweden Together on a mission to remove 1 billion kgs plastic from our ocean. And educate in schools and on clean up events.

We want to continue with organising a global impact event that can raise awareness and funds to strengthen communities around the world and help build infrastructure needed to stop pollution reaching our Ocean. Including sewage.

While it's raining microplastics around the world and it's found in 75%of commercial caught fish in New Zealand. Even found in our bloody streams and breastmilk.

With your support we can continue cleaning up and turn off the taps to pollution. As some countries lack waste management. We are uniting humanity to take action and responsibility.h, plus building communities that carefor a brighter cleaner future for the next generation.

By supporting this campaign, we can build trust and show media what's to come in the following concept Ocean Aid Global

So why not make a gift today that will have impact.

This planet is our life support system and not a natural recourse.
