The mission of GateWay Second Chance Foundation is to provide educational opportunities and life services for at-risk male adolescents--identified by juvenile justice, foster care and other community agencies--in need of a second chance to modify their behavior, earn a high school diploma and become contributing members of our communities.

This is done currently by after-school tutoring, summer jobs promotion where they both earn and learn in hands-on business sites, and a summer camp.

I have pledged to cycle 150 miles during the month of September. The reason I joined this effort is twofold. My mother and three of my siblings all died from heart disease and I have been proactively striving to stay fit by cycling and playing tennis. I have also had a burden on my heart for our struggling youth. Thanks for your support in this effort.
