Story
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a demanding 24-mile (38.6 km) circular route in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It features over 1,585 meters (5,200 feet) of total ascent, and the objective is to summit Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough within a strict 12-hour time limit.
I am undertaking the 24 mile Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 18 August 2026 to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK. This personal trek is not only a test of endurance but a commitment to support those affected by one of the most aggressive cancers.
Sadly my dear Mother died of Pancreatic Cancer in 2014 , after two year long battle with the disease .
Pancreatic cancer remains a devastating diagnosis, with half of those diagnosed succumbing within three months. Families are often left grasping for hope in the face of overwhelming odds. Pancreatic Cancer UK goes beyond mere hope; they deliver tangible progress through groundbreaking research, impactful campaigning, and compassionate support from expert nurses. Their relentless dedication ensures that the voices of those affected are heard and their needs addressed.
Your support will help Pancreatic Cancer UK to continue their essential work, bringing breakthroughs and care to those who need it most.
