Hi all - some bad news. I’ve managed to injure my knee during training - a Lateral Femoral Condyle Subchondral Fracture, no less - and on doctor’s advice won’t be running the marathon this year. (Photos in the gallery…) However, the nice people at NSPCC have carried my slot and sponsorship over to 2026 - so it’s still happening, just a year later! Thanks for the sponsorship so far, all donations still welcome and count towards my 2026 target!

After running my first marathon (Manchester) in 2024, I’ve succeeded in getting a charity place for London 2025! This time, I’m raising funds for the NSPCC, specifically for the Wilmslow branch, where my mum has been (and remains) treasurer for many years now. As a charity it needs no introduction for the great work that it does; I’m under immense parental pressure to put in a good showing, sponsorship-wise 😊. I’m also aiming to come in under 4hrs this time (I managed 4:00:15 for Manchester… so those 16 seconds are coming off!)
