I have been fortunate enough to only ever have required a HEMS team professionally, in my role as a paramedic. I know that when you need this team, you need them asap.

As a horse rider, I know the importance of having a team like this available and so this year my fundraising efforts will be for them.

I will be undertaking a wing walk - my legs are already like jelly just thinking about it!

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a 365-day-a-year helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk. We exist to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region. We do not receive regular direct government funding and the £17 million we need to raise this year comes directly from charitable donations.
