Story
On 11th October 2026, I’ll be taking on the Great Eastern Half Marathon to raise money for Little Miracles – an incredible charity that supports families with children who have additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions.
As a parent myself, I know how much you worry about your children. You want them to be happy, healthy, and have every opportunity to thrive. But imagine if, alongside all the usual ups and downs of parenting, you were also facing hospital appointments, therapies, uncertainty about the future, financial pressures, or simply feeling isolated because your child’s needs are so different.
For many families, that’s everyday life.
Little Miracles is there to make that journey a little easier. They provide practical support, activities, friendships, respite, advice, and a community that reminds families they’re not alone. They don’t just support the child, they support parents, siblings, and the whole family.
I feel incredibly fortunate that my own children are healthy, and I can’t begin to imagine the strength it takes for parents facing these challenges every single day. If running 13.1 miles can help make even a small difference to those families, then every mile will be worth it.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I’d be hugely grateful. Every pound raised helps Little Miracles continue the amazing work they do for families who need them most.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and generosity. It really does mean the world.
Let’s help give a few more families something every parent deserves – hope, support, and the reassurance that they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. ❤️
