At FORCE Cancer Charity we believe that anyone diagnosed with cancer deserves the best possible treatment and professional support, face to face and close to home. We have a Cancer Support and Information Centre in Exeter for patients and their loved ones.

Story

I’ve started this fundraiser in memory of my mum who sadly passed away in November 2023 following a very short battle with cancer and only 5weeks after we had our baby boy. Although short, Force cancer charity were exceptional in supporting not only my mum but our family as a whole. Cancer has touched the lives of us all in some way and the work that charities like Force do is vital during these very difficult times.

With the support of Nat I’ve organised a spinathon to raise money for Force cancer charity. Nat, the owner of SHIFT cycling has kindly donated not only her time, instructors, and bikes but invaluable guidance and advice to ensure the day runs smoothly.

SHIFT-athon is a 6hour event. Starting at 9am and finishing at 3pm. The aim is to rack up as many miles per bike as possible during this time. All individuals (there’s quite a few of us) participating are spreading the word, sharing the QR code and reposting posts on social media (all donations to be made to one just giving page). Any donations no matter how big or small makes a difference.

Cake & coffee will be available to buy on the day. Bring cash and card.

So, come down show your support and get the pounds racking up.

Event address; CrossFit Pi- Woodbury. 26, Woodbury Business Park, Woodbury EX5 1AY
