Story
I’m raising money for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust after recently going through an ectopic pregnancy that required surgery to remove both the pregnancy and my left fallopian tube. This chapter of my life has been incredibly difficult, and an emotional experience, one that has changed me in ways I’m still coming to terms with. The EPT have provided support to myself and many other women and families, to help these difficult times feel somewhat lighter. Going through this, I became so aware of how isolating and overwhelming this journey can feel, and how important it is to have the right support, information, and understanding during such a painful time. And the EPT do this💜
By sharing my story and fundraising, I hope to give something back and help ensure that others facing an ectopic pregnancy don’t feel so alone. I hope that, in some small way, this can help support others through their own experiences, whether that’s through access to resources, guidance, or simply knowing that someone understands and that they're not alone.
Throughout the year, I’ll be taking part in a variety of fundraising events, and this page will be the place where all donations come together. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go towards supporting the vital work of the charity. Thank you so much for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can put into words!
Who are The EPT?
The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust (The EPT) exists to ensure that anyone affected by ectopic pregnancy has access to clear, trusted information and compassionate support, while raising vital awareness of a condition that affects 1 in 80 pregnancies and can be life-threatening.
Every pound raised helps The EPT provide trusted information, one-to-one support, and life-saving awareness to people affected by ectopic pregnancy. Your support ensures fewer people face frightening symptoms alone and more lives are protected through earlier diagnosis.
Thank you💜
