Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am so excited to announce that I will be running my third London Marathon on Sunday 27th April 2025 in support of Variety, The Children’s Charity.

Previously I completed both the 2009 and 2016 London Marathons, and raised over £35,000 with a best finishing time of 3 hours and 42 minutes. This time around, I will be taking on the 26-mile challenge with my daughter, Alice, and my aim is to cross the finish line with her.

Over the past few years, Stanford Coachworks have been working closely with Variety to help supply a range of organisations with their famous blue Sunshine Coaches. During this time, I have had the honour of attending many of Variety’s fundraising events where I have been given the chance to experience first-hand just some of the fantastic work that they do.

Who are Variety?

Variety is a fantastic Children’s Charity who have been funding and delivering life-changing programmes to children and young people across the UK for the past 75 years. The charity provides a range of services including grants for specialist disability equipment, memorable day trips and outings, and of course, accessible transport with their famous blue Sunshine Coaches. Since 1949 over 5,800 Sunshine Coaches have been supplied by Variety. These coaches give children the opportunity to explore places and experience different learning environments.

My target is to raise £15,000 which will allow Variety to donate a brand-new Sunshine Coach to a SEND school or non-profit organisation supporting disabled and disadvantaged young people.
