Story
Hello everyone,
My name is Jess, and I’m the founder of Walkies and Adventures. This September, I will be taking on a sponsored challenge to walk 150 miles in support of the children’s air ambulance.
This cause is very close to my heart, when my son Arthur was born prematurely he had to be taken to another hospital via the children’s air ambulance. The care and support we received from the incredible team there was nothing short of exceptional, and we are forever grateful.
To give something back, I’m aiming to raise funds to support their ongoing work. I’ll be logging all of my walks throughout the month so you can follow my journey — and of course, your lovely furbabies will be joining in along the way!
Thank you for your support. Let’s make a difference together.
Warm regards,
Jess
Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients.
We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying.
Donations enable The Air Ambulance Service to meet the clinical needs of patients covering operational costs to ensure all our vital services are ready to respond.
