Story
With members of both sides of our family having suffered from multiple sclerosis (MS), we've seen for ourselves the awful impact it can have, affecting vision and movement, as well as causing mental difficulties. Our grandma (who you can see with us in the cover photo) and great-grandma both suffered from it for many years, so it's an issue that's really close to our hearts, but the MS Society is doing incredible work to help those affected by it.
MS damages the myelin (the coating that protects your nerves), in your brain and spinal cord, and once diagnosed, stays with you for life - in the UK, over 150,000 people currently have it. The MS Society helps thousands of people affected by MS, with helplines, events, and support groups, and crucially are also doing amazing research into MS causes, symptoms, and treatment.
We're aiming to raise £5,000 together – this is a big goal but it's such an important issue to us and we'd love your help – any donation is really appreciated, and goes towards an incredible cause!
