I’m challenging myself to the Great North Run for the incredibly important cause that is Movember. Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet its rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We cant afford to stay silent.

This charity will always hold a special place in my heart for a multitude of reasons and so If I’m going to challenge myself more than I ever have before (those who know me KNOW how painfully true this is) it has to be in honour of Al, by raising as much money as possible for the charity he so passionately supported.

Any size donation or support is welcomed and greatly appreciated, even if it’s just a simple share of my page or checking in with those closest to you. I cannot stress how important spreading awareness and support is.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of mens health. They know what works for men and what doesnt. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention were taking them all on.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 mens health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up mens health research, support services and treatment.
