Jesse Carlill is raising money for Zarach

Cycling the Coast to Coast

At Zarach, we are on a mission to end child bed poverty in England. So far, we have delivered over 17,000 bed bundles to children, ensuring they get the restful sleep they need and lifting them out of bed poverty.

Story

Hi my name is Jesse. I am 12 years old. Last year I cycled from Liverpool to Leeds it took me 5 days and I raised over £4000 which I was very proud of. And along the way we met loads of kind people helping to support us and cheer us on.

This year I have decided to raise even more money for Zarach by doing a more challenging cycle. I will be cycling from one side of the country to the other by doing the Coast to Coast (Whitehaven to Tynemouth) - approximately 137 miles! I would really appreciate any support you can give.

Many children are going to sleep hungry and cold without a proper bed of their own.

Poverty is a real problem that has a significant effect on a child’s education. By providing something to eat and a good night’s sleep, we hope to give every child an equal chance to learn and succeed at school.

You can help children living in poverty.

Together, we can meet their basic needs, give them a good night’s sleep and an equal opportunity at school.

If we don’t act now, these children will remain cold, hungry and tired.

We can make a difference.
