At Action Cancer, we believe that every woman deserves access to vital health services, regardless of age. As the only charity in the UK and Ireland offering free breast screening to women outside of the NHS age range of 40 - 49 and 70+, we are dedicated to making a difference. Each appointment costs Action Cancer £120, but for those who need it most, this service is provided at no charge.

Our team has witnessed firsthand the impact of cancer on our loved ones. Many staff members and their families have been personally affected by this disease, and Action Cancer has been there for them every step of the way—from early detection to post-treatment support like counselling and complementary therapies. They have truly been a lifeline during some of life’s toughest moments.

As we prepare for the "Breast Foot Forward Walk 2025" on June 6th, we invite you to join us in our mission. Our goal is to raise £500 so that Action Cancer can continue providing these essential services to countless families who find themselves in need.
