Story
Many of you know that last year I took on 106km around the Isle of Wight in 29 hours, raising money for Rape Crisis. This year I've decided to take on 100km on the Jurassic Coast (aiming for under 24 hours and joined by my lovely boyfriend) AND 100km in the Peak District just 6 weeks later...
This time round I wasn't going to raise any money but, after receiving counselling through CARA for many months last year, I felt like I wanted to raise a little bit of money to help those who might need it as much as I did. Survivors of rape and abuse can't access therapy through the NHS, so when I say every penny counts, I truly do mean it. If you can donate, even just a couple of pounds, then it'd be so appreciated! <3
CARA (Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse) works with victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse, providing independent, specialist support and promoting and representing their rights and needs.
CARA works with almost 2000 victims and survivors of all ages and all genders from across mid and north Essex each year, providing a range of high quality, specialist services.
