I'm raising funds for Just George at the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group. I've never run more than 10K before, a half marathon is a very long way but worth it for this worthwhile cause.

I was lucky enough to meet the great 'Just George' and look after him during his treatment for rhabdomyosarcoma. This amazing little boy taught us all about looking at the bright side of life and not a day went by when he didn't make someone smile or laugh with his charm.

Unfortunately George passed away due to his disease in 2023. Rhabdomyosarcoma is an aggressive cancer in children; support for families alongside clinical research is offered by CCLG and helped George's family tremendously.
