A Bear Named Buttony is a Scottish Charity providing support throughout the UK to children and young people who have a stoma. We donate Buttony, a cuddly friend, who has a stoma to children through a network of paediatric stoma nurses and direct through our FaceBook page. For Young Adults with a stoma we donate a wash bag full of non medical items to help them adapt to life with a stoma. Thanks so much for considering supporting our work. Together we can raise awareness and banish the 'poo' taboo!

Story

Hi I’m Jessica I am 10 years old , I have been fundraising for this charity for the last 5 years , I received my own buttony bear from the Charity 6 years ago just before I was having a operation to have a colostomy stoma formed , buttony is a very special bear to me and I want other children like me to be able to get one , I hand deliver the bears to alderhey children’s hospital and also the royal Liverpool and aintree hospitals to allow children understand about their parents or grandparents stoma ,

If you can help me to continue to help these hospitals I would be forever grateful 💜
