I am fundraising for East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity by taking part in a skydive!

The charity supports the four hospitals within the East and North Hertfordshire Trust - Lister Hospital, New QEII, Hertford County and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre - helping them go above and beyond for patients, their families and visitors. The charity funds new specialist equipment, extra staff training, research and projects to enhance patient experience.

In particular, I am fundraising for the critical care unit at Lister Hospital, which provides care for the sickest patients. My mum Eimear worked there for 15 years as a senior sister; she took part in the abseil last year to raise money for the ENHH charity...

This year we thought we would give her a break! So I'm stepping up to raise money for this amazing charity.

I'm normally in the skies without a parachute and the plane door firmly shut! So this new experience is something I'm excited albeit a bit nervous for, as I am absolutely terrified of heights, but so worth it to support this brilliant cause.
