London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

Genetic haemochromatosis (GH) can affect as many as 1 in 10 people in regions of the UK with an estimated 1.2million people at risk of serious ill health. We carry out pioneering research, increase public awareness, provide education to GPs & nurses and support families

Story

I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise awareness of Haemochromatosis.

My boyfriend’s lovely Dad is living proof of the incredible impact early diagnosis and treatment can have on those with Haemochromatosis, a genetic condition that can lead to serious, life threatening complications if left untreated.

Thanks to the support and research funded by Haemochromatosis UK, he is now thriving and enjoying life to the fullest.

I’d love to help ensure others get the help they need early enough. The treatment is simple and effective when caught in time, and with your support, we can help more people recognise the signs, seek help, and live healthier lives.

Every donation makes a difference - thank you so much!
