I am running the London half marathon 2025 to Race for Ace. Evelina is a charity extremely close to our hearts and will remain apart of us forever. When Ace turned one he ended up staying in Evelina for 95 nights while the professionals were investigating into his condition and finding the perfect solution to get him fit and healthy so he could be at home with us again. My family are so grateful for the love, support and knowledge they have shown Ace these past few months. Thanks to them Ace is thriving at home, happy and healthy. With regular reviews by the medics he is still a regular to Evelina and always receives a very warm welcome.

Ace currently suffers with forms of drug resistant epilepsy causing regular seizures daily , your donations support funding research into new medications and therapy to support babies like Ace where typical medicines do not take affect. Ace was also born with a cleft lip and palate and has undergone half of his surgery’s at Evelina, we are currently waiting for the other half of operations to be done when Ace is strong enough.

Ace has experienced life saving treatment during his stay and I wouldn’t like to think where we would be without charities like these. The care they provide is unmatched and donations and events like this are life changing for them. Over 100,000 families go through Evelina every year providing 5 star care. Thousands of nurses and doctors turn up to work everyday to help get these babies better and never fail to make families feel supported and comfortable throughout their stay. You would not believe this world until you are apart of it, it’s eye opening and we are extremely fortunate to be provided with this care.
