As many know, our identical twin boys were born extremely prematurely in October 2023, and sadly we lost one of our sons. We had to navigate our start to parenthood in the most challenging of circumstances watching one son fight for his life, and grieving the loss of our other son. We dreamt of both our boys always being together and we found great comfort in knowing they would never be alone. It was complex and we felt that no one would understand what we were going through.

I learnt of Footprints and no longer felt isolated. Sadly, there is a community of families who have lost a child/children from a multiple pregnancy, yet there remains such limited resources to support those who have gone through the complex loss of a twin or triplet.

Doing 10k steps a day will be a huge challenge for me, especially since retuning to work and being based at a desk! I would like to achieve this and raise money for this wonderful charity, and give something back.
