Story
Hi all.
I hit the big 50 last year - Vets Fest is the weekend before I turn 51, I still try and have a trundle for Ripon Bluebelles when I can.
I am planning on playing at Vets Fest this year in the first ever Yorkshire Women’s Team for this great charity - all the money I raise will be used back in Yorkshire and won’t be spent elsewhere.
Please give generously - and I will share photos of this 50 year old lady being put through her paces on the rugby pitch
Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby, funding life-changing projects across the UK and Ireland to support children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage.
Research shows that 1 in 10 children in the UK and Ireland have a disability and there are 3.5 million children in the UK living in poverty. These numbers continue to rise and more and more children need our help.
Our vision is that through the power of rugby, every child and young person has access to the same opportunities.
Thanks everyone for all your support
