This year Blenheim Park Developments chosen Christmas charity is Cheshire Search and Rescue.

Cheshire Search and Rescue team is a registered charity made up of volunteers and is dependent on donations from the general public or fundraising events, it costs £50 per day to keep the team operational and this cost increases when the team is on call outs, the money they raise helps them replace Items that can no longer be used as they have use by dates and items that are at the end of their serviceable life, it also helps them to maintain and upgrade team vehicles.

Sadly, at the end of 2022 a close friend of the developments team went missing during a storm, he had slipped and fell into a local river. CSAR worked along with the police searching the waters for him in sub-zero temperatures, sadly several weeks later Russell’s body was found, Russell was only 41 years old. Because of the coordinated efforts of all involved, in particular the volunteers at CSAR in searching for Russell, 10 weeks after his disappearance his family and friends were able to finally say goodbye.
