Story
I am running my first marathon at Loch Ness on 27th September 2026 in memory of my Grandad, Bill, and to raise money for the North West Ambulance Charity. Inspired by the paramedics who cared for my Grandad, I have proudly worked for the North West Ambulance Service for over six years. This challenge is my way of giving back to a charity that supports its staff, educates communities, and helps save lives every day.
We are fundraising to support the staff and communities of the North West Ambulance Service who do so much for us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The charity provides lifesaving equipment - such as AED's. education programmes, health & wellbeing programmes and other projects, for the benefit of it's incredible staff, volunteers and communities across the region.
Everything they do is over and above what NHS budgets can reach and every penny they raise helps to make a lifesaving difference to so many people.
