Losing your sight can be really frightening. Berkshire Vision provide vital emotional and practical support, and adapted sports and activities to over 1500 blind and visually impaired children and adults in Berkshire. We help reduce loneliness and isolation and build confidence and independence.

Story

Hi everyone!

This year, I’ve decided to take on a sprint triathlon in support of Berkshire Vision. After my mum lost her vision, this charity has been fantastic in supporting her, and now it’s my time to give back to them.

Berkshire Vision does amazing work supporting visually impaired children and adults, along with their families, throughout Berkshire. They offer practical assistance, sports, and various activities aimed at boosting confidence and promoting independent living. By providing these resources, Berkshire Vision helps individuals navigate the challenges of sight loss and lead fulfilling lives. Every donation – big or small – will help them continue to make a difference.

I’ll be completing a sprint triathlon (750m swim, 25km bike, 5km run) in Henley-on-Thames on 12th July 2025, and I’d love your support in reaching my fundraising goal of £200.

Thanks so much for reading and donating if you can. It means the world!

Jessica :)
