What an honor to train, run, and fundraise for Team Esperanza in the 2026 Team Esperanza Chicago Marathon. The Chicago Marathon takes place on October 11, 2026 and it is more than a race to me—it is a powerful opportunity to turn personal commitment into community impact.

Four years ago, when my first daughter was born, I knew I needed to be intentional about my health, my goals, and the example I wanted to set. Today, with two little ones cheering me on, they are my motivation and my reminder to keep moving forward with purpose. As a proud first-generation Latina, I never imagined I would have the chance to be part of this incredible sport, but running has captured my heart and shown me the strength of what is possible when passion meets purpose.

I am especially proud to support Esperanza, an organization rooted in hope and created to expand access to quality, bilingual health care for families who need it most. From primary care to women’s health, pediatrics, behavioral health, and wellness programs, Esperanza continues to serve thousands of patients each year with care, dignity, and excellence. Their mission matters, and their impact is real.
