This year I will be running the 2025 Chicago Marathon in aid of the Irish Cancer Society and in memory of my Dad. As many of you know, my dad was a beloved figure in my life, and he faced the challenges of cancer with remarkable courage. Sadly, he passed away in 2023, but his spirit and determination continues to inspire me every day. This marathon provides me with the chance to honor him by supporting the fight against cancer, which affects so many families just like ours.

The Irish Cancer Society plays a pivotal role in providing vital services, support, and research for those affected by cancer. From funding life-saving research to offering crucial support to families navigating their own cancer journeys, their work is invaluable.
