This will be my second time running the great north run but once again I will be running for the lily foundation. This is honestly an amazing charity that supports my cousin. Jayden and my family would be lost without the support from them.

After receiving a diagnosis of Mitochondrial Disease after years of fighting to find out answers for Jayden, my family were shocked and felt alone until they found the lily foundation.

Mitochondrial disease has no cure and has very few treatments. Raising money will allow not only to give back to this amazing charity but will help raise awareness, support other families and to one day hopefully find a cure.
