I am running the Royal London Parks Half Marathon for Bowel Research UK in memory of my amazing mum, who was diagnosed with bowel cancer in April 2023 and sadly passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 77. She left us far too soon, leaving behind four children and ten adoring grandchildren. This run is my way of honouring her memory and supporting vital research that can help prevent others from experiencing the same loss.
