Team Jessica is sleeping rough—so others don’t have to.

This year, we’re proud to take part in YMCA Bournemouth’s BIG Sleep Easy, standing in solidarity with those facing homelessness in our community.

Last year, Diverse Abilities’ Advice Team supported over 300 people with disabilities who had no safe, permanent home. Shockingly, 1 in 5 of the individuals they helped were homeless. These are people living with complex challenges, yet still battling for the most basic human right: shelter.

By joining this event, Team Jessica is raising vital funds to support Diverse Abilities’ Advice Service. This service helps people with disabilities navigate the maze of benefits, access the support they’re entitled to, and fight through appeals when the system fails them.

Funds raised will also be shared with YMCA Bournemouth, whose tireless work provides homeless individuals with security, support, and a chance to rebuild their lives—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
