On the 29th January 2008, my mum, Lisa, sadly passed away from Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis which left an indescribable hole in my life.

Although there is currently no know cure for MS, the MS society provides support, information and funds research for people living with MS. Therefore, I will be running the London landmark half marathon to raise money for this amazing charity that personally supported me, my mum and my family through the most difficult chapter of our lives. Anyone who knows me knows I only started running 6 weeks ago so this will be a challenge for me but I’m looking forward to it. I know that seven year old me who had just lost her mum would be super proud that I’ve made it this far and that I’m raising money for such an important and amazing charity :)
