Story
2024 sadly was a year in which cancer was everywhere, friends, family and patients all seemed affected more than ever before. Sadly, just before Christmas we lost my Uncle David to cancer and so I decided to do something productive and try to raise some funds for a worthy cancer charity. I'm doing what I said I would never do again.. run 13.1 miles (let's just hope this course is flatter than Devon!). On 6th April 2025 I will be running (slowly) around the streets of London trying to complete the distance.
And so, I am running this for my Uncle David and all those I know currently fighting cancer. Your courage, perseverence and determination astounds me and I am going to try to harness that energy during the hard miles.
Thank you for supporting my fundraising, even a little goes a long way and I am so very grateful for every penny donated for such a worthy cause. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
