Hi guys! My name's Jess and I am a 17 year old ambassador for alder hey children's hospital of 11 years. When I was 6 my baby sister Georgie was born with a rare condition called tracheal agenisis (born without her windpipe) and sadly passed away after spending 5 days with us in alder heys care. Just last year my grampy passed away due to a heart attack, and going to Vietnam together was something we had talked about, about the history behind Vietnam and sharing interesting facts. It almost seems destined for me to take on a challenge in Vietnam for alder hey, as a tribute to two people I love and hold so close to my heart.
