Like many of our young clients, Just for Kids Law is about to turn 18!

To mark this special year, we are also celebrating legal director Aika Stephenson's ground breaking new book, In Their Defence - Fighting for Youth Justice One Child at a Time. In her book, Aika writes about her life's work on the youth justice frontline, and sets out why the system needs urgent reform.

It is this passion which has driven Just for Kids Law's work since it was founded.

The charity has won multiple awards and remains committed to safeguarding the rights and enhancing the lives of children and young people, through direct legal representation, strategic litigation and campaigning. Just for Kids Law has an unrivalled record of bringing successful legal challenges which have improved young people's lives.
